FAQS
Your questions, answered
Do I need to take both tracks?
No, you can start with just the Fundamentals track if you want to build for yourself. The Professional track is designed for those who want to build for clients or at a professional standard.
Can I take the Professional track without completing the Fundamentals?
Yes but you must have foundational Bubble skills, so we strongly recommend completing the Fundamentals track first. The Professional track builds on those core skills and assumes that knowledge.
How much time will I need to commit?
Both tracks assume a commitment of about 15 hours per week.
What is the format of the bootcamp?
The bootcamp is a mix of self-paced video lessons and hands-on challenges. In the cohort model, you'll engage with the content independently (i.e. you will complete the challenges and check your work against the answer keys), but you'll also have weekly support through office hours and access to a private Slack community.
Does completing the cohort model come with a certificate?
The bootcamp’s cohort model is designed to be flexible and self-paced, allowing students to work according to their own schedules. As a result, there are no pass/fail assessments or completion certificates. However, by successfully completing the challenges each week in the bootcamp, you will have built a portfolio of apps showcasing a wide range of Bubble functionality, which can serve to demonstrate your skills and the work you've completed.
Do I need coding experience?
No - the program is specifically designed for people with no prior technical background. However, it is helpful if you have analytical skills/experience, such as with Microsoft Excel.
How is this different from your self-guided bootcamp?
Our guided bootcamp offers a cohort structure, office hours, a Slack community, and structured pacing.
What if I can't attend the office hour sessions?
All sessions are recorded, and our Slack community provides asynchronous support throughout the program.
Do I need to purchase a Bubble subscription?
You will need a paid plan for certain modules that require paid Bubble features. The $29/month plan is sufficient and it comes with a 14-day trial, so you can cancel before you start getting charged. In addition, we’ll provide you with $100 of credit towards a Bubble plan.
Is there a guarantee?
Yes! If you're not satisfied after the first two weeks of either track, we offer a full refund.
